Team Minnemann

I somehow prefer when things are going horrible than when they're going extremely average. There's nothing to focus on, I'm bored, I'm sad and I don't know what to do. Probably will play a game after this.

Anyway, I'm taking something off my chest... in five hours it's revealed deifnitely who's Dream Theater's new drummer. And it looks like the two strongest contenders are Marco Minnemann (my favorite by far), and Mike Mangini. Mangini, althought a great drummer, would be my last choice... saddly, everything points to the fact that he IS the winner. That would make my day pretty shitty. One percent of my hopes still go for Marco... I mean, they freaking LOVED his audution, LaBrie and Petrucci themselves told he was the most incredible by far, and it looks like he's Jordan's favorite too, after actually having played together and being good friends. Myung also said his choice is split between him and Mangini. Marco utterly KILLED the audition with  his unbelievable skill and cheerful spirit. He's the drummer Mike Mangini will never be half of.

So why not Marco?

I'm not even pissed anymore that Mike was most likely picked. I just want to know... why? Why not Marco? What made them take that decision if they had Marco, the phenomenal Jackhammer, in the line?

I want answers, damn it.
