Noncomformity

I like music.

A few days ago I was pissed off because I was reading the comments on a Youtube video of a song, and each one of them ranted about how awesome the drum solo is. Which was very different to anything I had heard before. And it was utterly bad. This made me think that people think that something is good just for being different.

But what happens when people thinks like me and, upon finding something different, think it's bad because it's different? I think most people is either stupid or stupidly pretentious. And I certainly dislike the second worse. People feel smart for not being part of the mainstream and all the popular fashions. Including mental ones. But...

Upon this, I can't help but think that not only we ignore the things we dislike, but we ignore the people with different mentalities. It's each one's opinion, but I don't think ignoring what we don't like is something good. Sure it's convenient, but good...? There are things we must put to consideration if we want not only to feel as good indivudals, but to BE good individuals. This is hard to achieve because of the encouraging that majority gives. If 90% of the people think something is okay, and 10% have right arguments to tell that something is wrong, change is far from being done. If the majority is like that, then why change our ways to think?

Because there is 10% of people who think differently. And that 10% will appear, to the rest of the people, to have a wrong mentality, while the 10% of people doesn't necessarily think a side is completely wrong or completely right.

So I ask... what tells us we're the right ones? Majority? I think not. I honestly don't think we can change or mentalities to perfection, specially if we're on the majority side.

Negativity and the noncomformity over it.

The majority will obviously think that we are to avoid negativity. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. The majority will rant about how good it is to be cheerful and talk about happy stuff. But then, the minority, which is in some way corrupted by whatever thing, will preffer to go deeper in the negativity. See evil, hear evil, speak evil. And this will be punished by the majority, surely in a moral or emotional way. Imagine a popsicle in a microwave. That's pretty much how a mental minority is hurt.

I think people who tend to go into negativity is not bad. I don't think it's harmful for themselves either. I think it's a way to squeeze the contents of life itself. Sure it's an unusual way, but it's effective and doesn't hurt anyone. Why not execute your own way to express yourself to yourself and not be pursued for that? It's a shame though, that someone will be nonconformist of your mentality no matter what. When it happens, spit in their face. You can speak however and whatever you like.

Is there really a need to run away from our demons if we can befriend them? If we do befriend them, why can't people see it without moking that and feeling their opinions are better than yours? Why can't they see the open perspective and speech of sadness, regret and all the other passive, negative emotions as a positive thing? Is it because it's different? Is it because the word implies total significance to them? Is it because they don't like to feel guilty? Is it because they are too sufficient with themselves? Is it because they overcentralize life around their own perspectives and lie to themselves with fake empathy and fake common sense?

Remember. Good =/= Convenient. And being noncomformist of negativity is convenient. Remember too, that being punished for being punished is the worst thing you can ever feel. I hope you understand this.

Next is a picture of diary with a heart-shaped lock.

Not everything you write in you diary is about happiness and good things. There are sad moments on it too. And yet, you feel better when you write down those bad moments than the good ones. Bye.

I'm feeling refreshed.
